,I am sad this Friday will be our last class to paint together. It has been a lot of fun getting to know each other. So fun to have participants from B.C. as well as Alberta and Nova Scotia!
Canvas boards 11 x 14 Found at Michaels in packs of 5 Palette Use your own or use a styrofoam plate or sheet of glass. My preference is wet blue shop paper towel on a tray or cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. It keeps the paint moist for an entire day. Acrylic Paints - use what you have or get the best you can afford. Do not use craft paint. Liquitex basics are good to start with. My students use Tri-Art Paints which are artist grade. They are on sale right now at Inglewood Art Supplies. 30% off! Paint colours - arylide yellow, quinacridone magenta or scarlet, ultramarine blue, dioxazine purple, burnt sienna and titanium white. Brushes - Simply Simmons are student grade brushes that I still use. #2 flat or bright and #16 flat or shader or 1" flat Paper Towels and a container for hot water Hair Dryer
